This site helps you begin the planning process for college.  You can lookup specific colleges and check out financial aid information.

Timeline for College

This is a college application calendar.  It describes basic steps for month to month preparation needed by you to enter the college of your choice.

 

 

SAT Preparation Center

This site will tell you everything you need to know about the SAT including test dates and fees.  For more information,  contact your school counselor.

 

 

Act Testing

If you have not taken an ACT test or want to take it again contact your school counselor. Most seniors have already taken this test.  ACT Tests can be taken by juniors at the following dates:

   

Federal Financial Aid Application for College  (FAFSA)

Submit 2009-2010 FAFSA on the Web Applications by midnight Central Daylight time, June 30, 2010.  If you need help paying for college this is the place to go.  To get more help with this application,  please call the high school and schedule an appointment with your counselor.

Scholarships Anyone?


Ideally, all students would obtain enough scholarships to pay for four years of college.  Reality? There are many students applying for scholarships and the competition is fierce.  The good news is that smaller scholarships are out there if you're willing to search.  Please be aware that some scholarship awards can decrease the amount of financial aid you receive.  Below are some helpful ideas for getting started.
